After I began a new position as a CEO I decided I needed some kind of objective sounding board. Despite having occupied the role in a previous organisation, being a CEO can be a lonely role, so I was looking for someone to act as a confidant, someone who could give me advise when I needed it. Meeting Kerry was fantastic. I was able to discuss issues as diverse as staff engagement, productively working with the Board, to tailoring communication strategies for different audiences. Initially we met fairly regularly, but eventually our meetings became more ad hoc, often consisting of a phone call or email. Being able to reach out to Kerry for her thoughts on various issues as they arise is an enormous benefit to me professionally and personally.
